How to & Rules
Welcome consignors!! Please read these rules closely before prepping your items to be sold. They are updated before every sale, so be sure to check it out every time.
ATTENTION: THE CONSIGNOR PORTAL WILL CLOSE THE SUNDAY BEFORE THE SALE! CONSIGNORS NEED TO BE REGISTERED AND HAVE THEIR ITEMS ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM BY THAT TIME. VOLUNTEERS MUST ALSO SIGN UP BY 11:59PM ON APRIL 21ST.
All baby & children clothing sizes will be accepted up to youth size 14. It must be clean, not faded, and stain, odor & tear free. Just ask yourself...would I buy this? Since this is the spring sale, we will gladly accept shorts, sandals, and swimwear. Please hang on to your snow gear/heavy outerwear for the fall/winter sale. Costumes are accepted at both sales. All clothing items must be hung on a hanger (exception: maternity pants do not need to be hung), with a tag attached to each item with a tagging gun or safety pin. PLEASE ONLY ATTACH A TAG TO CLOTHING ON A SEAM OR MANUFACTURER TAG. TAGGING IN THE MIDDLE OF FABRIC WILL DAMAGE IT. We can accept gently used, extremely CLEAN cloth diapers. Shoes must be in great condition and placed in a Ziploc bag with the tag taped to the front. If they do not fit in a bag, find some way to attach them together so they do not separate. Please make sure the tag is securely attached to the item or the item may not be sold or returned to you. You can also safety pin a couple pieces of clothing together and hang them on one hanger as a "package deal." For example, you can pin 2 or 3 onesies together and charge one price for all of them. Check with local dry cleaners, baby stores or clothing stores to see if they'll give you some hangers for free. If not, they are very cheap at stores such as Walmart, Big Lots & dollar stores.
Maternity clothing must be in excellent condition. Year round maternity clothing is welcome. Maternity pants do not need to be on hangers.
All toys must be clean, i.e. not sticky or dirty. If they are battery powered, make sure working batteries are in place. Toys that have lots of different pieces should be sealed in a Ziploc bag with the tag taped to it. If not in a Ziploc bag, please make sure the tag is stuck securely to the toy, but not damaging to it. All toys, puzzles, & games should be complete. We will not be accepting stuffed animals, unless they are new with tags.
All battery powered baby gear (i.e. swings, vibrating bouncy seats), should have working batteries in place.
Small items like hair accessories and socks should be placed in a Ziploc bag.
Tagging is done through the consignor portal. You can start working on tags by clicking on"work with consigned inventory" once you've logged in. While creating tags, you can choose which items you'd like marked down for the 1/2 price sale and which items you'd like to donate when the sale is over. Please print all tags on white or VERY light cardstock paper (thicker than printer paper).
Item drop off is by appointment only on Thursday & Friday, April 25 & 26. It is very important that you are on time. Click here to schedule your appointment. Please make sure all items are securely tagged and have all clothing on hangers. Please bring clothing sorted, first by gender and then by size.
Consignors will need to schedule a Pick-Up Appointment through the Consignor Portal. Unsold item reports will be uploaded immediately after the sale and consignors will need to come find their unsold items during their pick-up appointments. Consignors are encouraged to print their reports at home or bring a tablet/smart phone (internet access will be available). Reports may be printed from Lil' Vermonters computers on an as needed basis.
Any items left at the venue after 8PM on April 27th will be donated, no exceptions.
